Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 6, 2026
TINXO is developed by Juan Gracia. The short version: TINXO has no accounts and does not collect your name, email, or the names of the players you add. Your games stay on your device. The only things that leave your device are anonymous usage analytics, crash reports, and any suggestion you choose to send us. None of it is sold or used for advertising.
Information stored on your device
TINXO saves some data on your device so the app remembers your groups and settings:
- The player names you add, and their colors and order.
- Your settings (language, Family Mode, intensity, points, sounds).
- Simple game counters, such as how many games you started and finished.
This data stays in the app's storage on your device. It is not uploaded to us or shared with anyone. You can delete it with Reset Everything in Settings, or by deleting the app.
Anonymous usage analytics
To see which games people play and to fix problems, TINXO sends a small set of usage events to PostHog, on servers in the European Union. The events are: app opened (with how many times it has been opened and the date it was first opened), game started (which game and how many players), game finished, and result shared. Each event also includes the app version and the platform (iOS or Android).
- Events are linked only to a random ID that the app creates and stores on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, Google account, or advertising ID.
- Events never include player names or the questions and answers from your games.
- Automatic click tracking and session recording are turned off.
- Deleting the app removes the random ID.
Crash reports
If the app hits an error, TINXO sends a crash report to Sentry, on servers in the European Union. A report contains technical details: the error message, where in the code it happened, the app version, and the device model and operating system version. The app also sends timing data for a sample of sessions so we can find slow screens. Crash reports do not include player names or game content.
Suggestions you send
The Suggestions? link on the home screen lets you send us a short message. The text you type is sent to us through Sentry. We do not ask for your name or email there, so please do not include personal information in the message. If you want a reply, email us instead.
Sharing and ratings
- When you tap share at the end of a game, TINXO opens your device's share sheet. Only what you choose to share goes to the app you pick. TINXO does not see or keep it.
- After you finish a few games, TINXO may show the standard App Store or Google Play rating prompt. Apple or Google handle that prompt. TINXO does not see your rating.
Network data
When the app sends analytics or a crash report, PostHog and Sentry receive your device's IP address as part of the connection. We do not use it to identify you. The games work with no internet connection at all.
Information we do not collect
TINXO does not:
- Ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or location.
- Use accounts or require sign-in.
- Send player names or game content off your device.
- Show advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.
- Sell any data.
TINXO has no in-app purchases at this time.
Children's privacy
TINXO is rated 4+ and has a Family Mode with kid-friendly content. TINXO does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The analytics and crash reports described above contain no personal information.
Your choices
- Delete the data on your device with Reset Everything in Settings, or by deleting the app.
- To ask about the analytics or crash data linked to your device, or to ask us to delete it, email us.
